PTA Committees
Afterschool Committee: Acts as the liaison between afterschool programs and the PTA
Budget Committee: Work with a team to collect & review all PTA monetary requests & ideas for the next school year. Evaluate & work towards proposal to present to parent community for final vote - April-June
Arts & Culture Committee: Helps bring art projects and events to the school community, partnering with related teachers and programs
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee: Assesses where and how equity and diversity can be built up and maintained in our community; ultimately help prepare any necessary budget proposal for the PTA Board to ensure that needed funds are obtained and dispersed appropriately
Dual Language Program (Computer Science, French, Spanish) Committee: Examines our language programs and accesses the needs, challenges, and successes of each program, and communicate them to the PTA
Environmental Science Committee: Assist in maintaining the roof garden and it's programming or join one of the subset committees - Nutrition, Sustainability, Harvest & Holiday Market Planning, Science etc.
Gala and Auction Committee: Assist with the planning of the Annual Gala and/or help solicit donations from local businesses to build the auction offering - January through March
Grant Writing Committee: Help identify and apply for relevant grants that can help the school; responsible for seeing the funds through and reporting back to the grantor on how the funds were used in our community

Library Committee: Facilitates communication between the Library and PTA Board & parents; understands budgetary needs and the work inside the school and the community it serves
